New Zealand Hunts

  Hunting season runs from March through August each year. These months are great for mixed bag hunts however if you wish to hunt for a big bull tahr or buck chamois then schedule your hunt for April through mid June. You can hunt for the deer species at any time during the season but if you wish to experience the rut or bugle then schedule early March - May.

  This area in New Zealand has produced many record book species and has a fair number of potential world record animals, including at least 3 stags over 500 SCI which will make the SCI top 10 and potentially the new world record.

  Here are the basic hunt packages, but remember you may add species or only hunt one if you like. We will make the hunt exactly what you want.

Free range hunts are also available and are a great experience!

Basic Hunt Packages:

Classic Red Stag
3 day bronze red stag hunt with ability to upgrade.

Big Three
Bronze, Red Stag, Tahr and Chamois for 7 days.

Over The Top
5 day Tahr and Chamios hunt with a heli flight over the tops of the Alps between hunt Areas.

South Island Classic
10 day hunt for Red Stag, Fallow, Elk, Tahr, Chamois, Ram Goat and Boar.

New Zealand Grand Slam (12 Big Game Species)
16 days with above package also including Whitetail, Sika, Sambar, and Rusa.

No Frills Back Country Hunt
Free range Tahr, Chamois and Stag hunt on public land for 14 days. 2 on 1 hunt is best.
