Success vs. Opportunity

My name is Dustin Roe, A young enthusiastic, hardworking hunter and guide who will “Do What It Takes” to provide you with the hunting adventure of a lifetime. Since 2003 I have been guiding full time. I am an avid backpack rifle and mountain bow hunter.

At 18, I was granted a permit to guide under the regular age limit of 19. I guided for Elk, Black bear, and both Mule and Whitetail deer. The next year I wanted to guide for Sheep. I ventured north away from the family business and guided for a well known Outfitter, Bryan Martin (Canadian and Asian Mountain Outfitters). I Guided with a 100% Success rate for all hunts for Bryan. The next year my parents and I expanded our operation north, leasing an area, thus giving us Stone Sheep to hunt.

In 2006, I was the youngest outfitter excepted as a member of the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia “GOABC” and am still a member in good standing. In 2007, we expanded again, leasing another area in southern B.C. with tremendous Bighorn Sheep.

To date at 25, I have guided in the NWT (Northwest Territories) for Dall Sheep, the Yukon for Stone Sheep, BC for 14 different species and Mexico for Desert Sheep. Since 2003, I have guided over one hundred hunters, including over 30 archers. Only 3 bow hunters have been unsuccessful in harvesting an animal, two of whom were only looking for exceptional animals and have since booked again and taken their trophy. I have hunted and killed many trophy class animals, 8 Boone & Crockett animals including a, 184 Rocky Mountain Bighorn, a 52 inch Mountain Goat, a 24 5/8 Interior Grizzly with a bow, a 40 inch Dall Sheep and over 25 P&Y animals including a Gross, 208 inch Canadian Moose and multiple Sheep with Archery equipment.

Hunting the mountains is my passion, Backpacking for sheep and other rough country animals is a bug you catch, and I’ve got it!

If you’re looking for a successful extreme type hunt, you’ve found it!
